Fringe Laboratories, LLC ("Fringe Laboratories," "we," "us," or "our") operates Vocalist, a voice-first tool that helps small business owners manage invoicing, scheduling, and inventory. Fringe Laboratories is the registered brand for our SMS messaging program. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have — including when we communicate with you by text message.

When you request an invite or contact us through our website, we collect the information you submit, which may include:

• The biggest issue your business is facing
• Your weekly time commitment
• Your industry and location
• How many customers you've had in the past year

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked (such as opening or submitting our invite form, or clicking a FAQ question). This data is aggregated and does not include the contact information described above unless you separately submit it through our forms.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Vocalist allows a business owner using our service to text with their own customers (for example, to confirm an appointment or answer a question) through a phone number provisioned for that purpose. This section describes how that texting works and the choices available to message recipients.

• Consent. A customer's phone number is only enrolled to receive text messages after they have opted in (for example, by providing their number to the business and agreeing to be contacted by text).
• Two-way messaging. Recipients can reply to messages they receive; replies are delivered to the business owner so they can respond.
• Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with the business. Message and data rates may apply.
• No sharing for marketing. Mobile information collected in connection with SMS consent, including phone numbers and opt-in status, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate our website and service, including:

• Google (Gmail/Google Workspace), to receive and respond to form submissions
• Google Analytics, to understand website usage
• Twilio, to send and receive text messages on behalf of the service

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fringe Laboratories, our users, or others.

Data Retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, operate our service, and comply with our legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.
